1. Workshop: Tarpitecture with Willow Brewster

Brief description: Participants will learn how to build basic tarp shelters that are useful for a variety of Yukon weather conditions. This course includes an introduction to basic knots and after some demonstrations, we will set up shelters!
2. Northern Bushcraft with Catherine and Hannah Welsh

Description: Join Catherine and Hannah to learn the practical skills and knowledge on the most important crafts of setting up a bush camp. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the basic skills of fire management, emergency signalling, axecraft, knifecraft, ropes, knots and sheltercraft.

4. Workshop: Hunter specific First Aid Info Session with Willow Brewster

Brief description: This workshop is intended to give hunters sound advice on tools and techniques for common hunting injuries. We will focus on utilizing items in your backpack and wilderness resources. We will also discuss who (and how) to call for help when you are in the backcountry.
Participants are encouraged to bring comfortable seating, a notepad and their personal first aid kits if they have one.

5. Workshop: Field Dressing a Big Game Animal with Angela Code
