Field Dressing Courses

Are you interested in learning the ins and outs of field dressing and meat care?

Yukon Fish & Game Association and Hunter Education & Ethics Development are beginning to offer two-night field dressing courses on two evenings, one week apart. Each session will be approximately 3 hours long.

This course will prepare you for processing this season’s harvest. The first night will cover field dressing and how to prepare your harvest for transport out of the field, while the second night will cover additional meat care to properly process your harvest.

Join us to learn the field dressing skills for your next hunting trip!

The best part? You get to take home a portion of the meat processed in the course.

The first Field Dressing Course took place on September 5th and September 12th. We are hoping to organize more courses in the upcoming months, so stay tuned.

Additional information regarding location, time, and what to bring will be sent out to the registered participants of a given session.
