With a continued focus on skill development for the pure enjoyment associated with hunting, angling and outdoor activities, YOW is usually held the beginning of June. During the three-days you’ll enjoy a wide variety of workshop options, as well as evening events e.g. outdoor fashion show, inspiring talks, campfire stories and camaraderie.
It’s a Sleep-Over!
Comfortable accommodation will be held at Vista Outdoor Learning Centre on the Mayo Road, home to the YFGA Outdoor Education Camp and YOW Program. VOLC can accommodate 18 women in wall tent accommodation, as well as provide tent sites for more numbers.
Many of the workshops will be located at VOLC.
Event Costs and Registration
The cost for the three-day program is $300 for YFGA members and $350 for non- members. (includes accommodation and meals).
You can become a member of the YFGA for $30 as a single or $35 for a family. Priority will be given to those registering for the full three days.

The registration deadline for YOW is usually the middle of May.
Register early because it fills up quickly once the word is out – 3 days in 2019!
A completed registration form must be included with your payment and dropped off at the YFGA office.
