We are looking for fish stories for the May/June issue. Deadline March 7th.

Keep it short, 250 words is fine. Let’s see how many we can get published. There will be a draw at the end of the year for 2 members to receive a hat of their choice.

Tell us about your biggest fish, smallest fish, almost-caught-him fish, first time out with the grandkids, neat things you saw while out, whatever. I took a young fella from Edmonton and his dad out on Snafu a few summer's ago to hopefully catch his first fish. Not only did he catch one, he caught the first, the biggest, and the most of anybody that day! He had the hot rod I tell ya.

We had to tell someone of our adventure so on the way home when we had to stop for the construction by Little Atlin Lake, he told the flag girl (Amanda) and she called the grader driver on the radio and he came and had a look and everyone made a big deal about it. He was so proud, and he offered Amanda his first fish which she gratefully accepted. That's fishing in the Yukon!
